I personally love weaves and i just recently opted for a long
straight human hair extension.I love them for the length and volume they add to my hair.Here are some tips on how to maintain your weave:
1) HAIR CARE
Try to wash your weave once every two weeks.Invest in a good quality shampoo and conditioner to make sure that no damage occurs.If you aren’t sure,ask a stylist to assist you.
2) HEAT DAMAGE
If you’ve opted for synthetic hair,its recommended that you do not flat iron or blow dry your hair.This could damage it or melt it.It is the cheaper option and can last as long as 2months,provided you take good care of it.Human hair on the other hand,may be blow dried, flat ironed or curled.This ofcourse is the more expensive option but definitely worth it.
3) THE COST
Synthetic hair can start from R300 to R600 while human hair well exceeds that starting from about R1000 ofcourse depending on the length of the weave.
4) NATURAL HAIR
Don’t forget that its also important to take care of your natural hair that’s braided.You can moisturise your scalp to keep it from being dry and flaky and this will also protect your hair from damage.
VERDICT
Always try to go for good quality weaves.It will last you longer and save you money in the long run.My favourite hair product right now is 'Sparkleberry”.They have quality hair extensions that are tangle free and so easy to manage and maintain.OTHERWISE…

I just bought these today! The wedge sneaker.I know we’ll be seeing more of these in the fall season through winter.I saw them about a week ago and I just had to go back for them! The last 1 in this colour and it happened to be my size!A match made in heaven<3 .

Hip Hop has had a major influence on the fashion industry from as far as the 1980’s.From Adidas sneakers to Kangol bucket hats.
Over the years we’ve seen a lot of change in ‘hip hop fashion’.Women don’t have to dress like men to create that hip hop feel. Baggy pants and trucker boots?NO THANKS! A cute cropped T and high waist shorts can be paired with a fitted cap,high tops and big hoop earrings and there you have it!
